Happy Holidays!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! I had a very short session with this family due to little boys being little boys, but that's what makes my job so much fun. The B&W shot is my favorite - just a simple story of the brothers enjoying each other's company.

Happy Halloween

This weekend has been busy with Halloween activities with my girls - we hit 2 trunk or treats. I managed to fit in a cute photo shoot early this morning. Loved the pumpkin sleeper!

Baby AJ!

AJ is about a month old but only 7 lbs and all I could think of was that my girls were never that small! He wasn't very happy in front of the camera but we managed to get a few good shots. Here are a couple of my favorites...

Fall Mini Session

It’s that time of year again! Time for Halloween costumes, football, cooler weather and warm cider! This is my favorite time of year for photos with the bright, colorful leaves and nice weather. I'm offering my fall special through the end of November so contact me if you want to reserve a spot.

Happy Birthday Grandma!

I noticed my nametag when I got home and got a kick out of the description. When my dear friend Matt asked me if I could shoot his family's photo at his mom's 80th birthday surprise party, of course I couldn't say no. My favorite quote of the day "Oh my God, Grandma looks so cute" as she went to get her mail instead of joining the party. Enjoy the preview!

Four Generations

K's family drove through a downpour to get to our photo session but by the time we all gathered for pictures, the rain had stopped. Of course, the sun didn't come out until we almost finished but we still had a fun time. The group had some fun ideas from standing by the trees to taking a four generation photo. Family Portraits

With the excessive heat warning today in KC, I didn't know what to expect with my session today since there were young kids involved. Luckily, we had a lot of shade and water!!! Of course, all the kids had their best smiles on and I was able to capture some great family pictures. I especially enjoyed recreating the picture of the sisters back from 1993.
