Family Portraits

With the excessive heat warning today in KC, I didn't know what to expect with my session today since there were young kids involved. Luckily, we had a lot of shade and water!!! Of course, all the kids had their best smiles on and I was able to capture some great family pictures. I especially enjoyed recreating the picture of the sisters back from 1993. Here are a few that caught my eye. Enjoy!

Zach's 4 Year Photos

It's been a while since I've posted but I've done a couple weddings and some portrait sessions since the last post. Anyways, we managed to avoid the heat wave with an early morning session and although Zach wasn't in the mood for portraits, he would smile and wave at the camera and say "Hi Grandma". Here are just a couple more of my favorites from this past weekend. I have the hardest time capturing my two year old but I absolutely love this one since she is staring straight into the camera (even though she is very serious in this pic). I love the colors of the second picture!

Cool Fall Morning at Nelson Atkins!

It was a brisk 48 degrees for our session at the Nelson Atkins Museum. This is the first time I've used this location and it certainly did not disappoint. I always love taking pictures of Addison and Ayla since they love posing for the camera! Here are a few of my favorites...
