Kids Edition - Nelson Atkins

“You don't take a photograph, you make it.” ― Ansel Adams. So I love this quote as a photographer but honestly, the kiddos made my work easy and the pictures turned out beautifully! Everyone had a such great attitude and we had such a fun session despite the cool morning. The family photos turned out great also but I decided for this preview to focus only on the kiddos. Enjoy!

White Family

It's been a while since I've last posted but I had a great session this past weekend in the West Bottoms area. It was a great day for photos and there were many photographers out and about on Sunday morning. It was fun catching up with the White family - it's been 5 years since our last session and my how the kids have grown! I haven't had a chance to go through all the pics yet but here are a few that caught my eye.

"A"Family

The holiday season is my favorite time of the year and what makes me happiest is when families can come together. I love it when my family make it to Dallas to spend time with my family and watch my parents spoil the grand kids. I had the pleasure of taking this family's group photo when everyone was finally in town at the same time and here are a few of my favorites. Enjoy!

Halloween

Thought I'd share with you pictures of my girls I took before we went trick or treating. Note to self: don't feed children candy prior to taking their pictures. Here are my little kitty cat and butterfly finally posing for pics...

Krosky Family

The last few weeks have been crazy busy with my day job and then my fun side job of photography. I had fun with the Krosky family along with both sets of grandparents and luckily I had a bag of Skittles to bribe the kids to pose. I haven't had a chance to go through all the pics but this one really stood out so enjoy and I'll try to get more previews out this week.

Zach!

This year we decided to wait until autumn to do Zach's yearly pictures instead of the normal spring timeframe and even though I love spring, my favorite time of year for pictures is definitely in the fall. Zach was on his best behavior and we ended up with so many good shots that I didn't know which to post for previews since I had so many favorites, so I let my girls pick their top three - enjoy!

Autumn!

Cooler weather, hot chocolate, fall leaves, football and now we have Miss Autumn! We spent our lunch hour on Friday in the very cool weather to take some photos of Autumn and she was a real trooper braving the cold weather.
